ADOPTABLE PETS
If interested in adopting one of our available pets, you must complete our ADOPTION APPLICATION. Each application will be reviewed and considered. We will keep this page updated with the status of our dogs. A foster home will contact you if they feel there might be a match. Pets are placed in the home deemed most suitable to meet that pets needs. All adoptable animals have been vetted to include spay/neuter, DHP & Rabies vaccine, microchipped, dewormed and flea treatment. Our dogs are in private foster homes throughout and within driving distance to Orange County, CA. Our adoption fees range from $150 – $600. Our pets/adoption fees can also be viewed on:

Meet Cinder, a 2 year old 21 lb Pug mix with the cutest floppy ears. This brave little mama has quite the story to tell. Found surviving on the streets within a homeless encampment with her seven tiny pups in tow, Cinder kept her fire burning strong until help arrived. Thankfully, she and her babies were surrendered to a kind good samaritan who reached out to Lovebugs Rescue, giving this deserving family a second chance.
Cinder has been an incredible, devoted mama—protective, nurturing, and resilient through it all. Now that her puppies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved.
At first meet, Cinder may come across a little shy and reserved, but don’t let that fool you—her curiosity always wins. She’ll gently come in for a sniff inspection, and with a few tasty treats, you’ll quickly earn her trust. Before you know it, she’ll be hopping right into your lap, ready for affection and bonding.
This girl has some spark, too! Cinder is athletic and surprisingly agile—she can leap onto higher surfaces with ease (tables are a favorite perch for keeping an eye on her world). She’s learning the comforts of indoor living and is doing wonderfully settling into a routine, including making great progress with her potty training.
Cinder is ready to leave her survival days behind and step into a life filled with warmth, safety, and love. All she needs now is a forever home to keep her fire glowing bright.

This handsome 2-year-old, 18 lb Poodle mix is a sweet soul who just wants to be loved. He’s friendly with both people and other dogs, and he’s already showing nice manners around the home. Thankfully he quickly became a Lovebug and after a rough few days, he finally got the hang of bottle feeding and really turned the corner. Vinny has been doing amazing in his foster home. He has seen an orthopedic specialist and he will require the remaining of his leg to be surgically amputated. We will do this surgery when Vinny is older and can withstand going through anesthesia and his recovery.

MEDICAL HOLD: Goldie was turned into the shelter with 3 other siblings. Goldie had sadly been hit by a car and has traumatic injuries. She was scheduled for euthanasia, but a shelter volunteer reached out to us for help. Thankfully we were able to pull her just in time. Goldie has several fractures to include femoral head, tibia/fibula, pelvic, rib and toe. She had surgery for FHO on 4/3/26 and is recovering from that.
